Video Game Reviews of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Justice for AllCustomer Review: Did not disappoint!! Summary: 5 StarsOh, I don't even know where to start! This game was marvelous, or, as Max Galactica would put it, FABULOUS!! ;) Well first of all let me tell you why I even got this game. I received the first Phoenix Wirght game for my birthday from a friend who said he had enjoyed it very much. I was skeptical, as I had never played a game about law of all things, but I decided to give it a try anyway. And of course, I ended up falling in love with it, and as soon as I found out there was going to be a sequel, I knew I had to buy it! So this game once again follows the story of Phoenix, Maya, and all of your other favorite characters, including some new ones, namely Franziska the female prosecutor, who is your main rival for a good deal of the game, and Pearl, Maya's cute little cousin. There is so much intrigue and suspense in every case, and the thing that pleased me the most was the TWISTS!!! Yes, twists, the most thrilling part of it all! Of course, you'll have to play this to see what I mean, and man is it worth it! And while there are only 4 cases to solve rather than 5, each one is still satisfyingly long, and the awesomeness of the game overall makes up for it anyway! Now you're getting this from a not-so-huge gamer who has greatly enjoyed games such as Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, and Final Fantasy, and this series is definitely one of my favorites! If you liked the first Phoenix Wright, you will LOVE this one! Heh, in my opinion, this one's even a little bit better than the one before it!
Customer Review: Love the series! Summary: 4 StarsGreat game, the last case was kind of hard at least for me so I had to cheat a couple of times, the psyche lock does not bother me so much but sometimes you really have to search deep to unlock them. Great game, really recoment it for people that like to solve mysteries.
Customer Review: Justice for All Verdict: Absolutely Wonderful! Summary: 5 StarsI purchased this game out of curiousity; a friend of mine had previously bought one of the Ace Attorney games (and refused to let me play his), so I was very much hoping the game would be worth the money spent.
It very much is! With several different cases to think through (none of them short in the least), lovable and unforgettable characters, and occasionally the giggle-inducing comment from one forgetful judge, "Justice for All" kept me playing for hours, and even days, on end.
Customer Review: A good game, but... Summary: 3 StarsBefore you play this game, I highly recommend attempting to find a copy of the first game. This game DOES explain how the game's court system works, and you get an idea of what happened in the first game, but it's best to play the first game in order to fully appreciate it.
As for the game itself, there are 4 cases instead of 5 in this game- which left me feeling a bit ripped off, as one of the 4 cases is incredibly short, and one does nothing for the story. However, the second case alone makes this game worthwhile(for this price, anyway.)
Even with the lack of a case, and two.. not so good cases, this game is worthwhile to play. It is still fun, and, of course, the cases always leave you guessing until the end. I recommend it, but play the first one first.
Customer Review: Not as good as the original, but still fun Summary: 3 StarsI bought this game after playing, and loving the first phoenix wright game, and I'm a little dissapointed. Where the first game was clever and required some thinking, this game is mostly just frusterating. I often find myself having no idea what to do, and just randomly presenting evidence until I find the right item. When I do find the right piece of evidence, it sometimes doesn't make any sense, and there's no way to have known the right thing to do without guessing. That issue aside, it's still a pretty fun game. The new psyche-lock feature adds a new challenge and is very entertaining. The stories are just as ridiculous as before, and I've had a good time playing it. I wouldn't reccomend this game for someone who hasn't played the original phoenix wright, but if you love the series then you'll have a good time.
