This case is not designed to hold the DS Lite itself. It consists of a spiral clip-lock with plastic pages that have pockets designed to hold the DS cartridges and GBA cartridges. I bought this case under the impression that it was an aluminum case to protect a Nintendo DS Lite game system, only to find when it arrived that it is a case to hold DS games only. There is absolutely no point in including "Lite" in the Title or description, which by the way, never states that the case is made to carry only game cartridges. I read and reread the description and still cannot find a single indicator that it is not made to protect the game system itself.
I ended up keeping the case since I didn't have time to return or exchange it before Xmas. Within 2 days of the case being used for it's actual purpose, at least half of the plastic game pockets split at their seems making for just a disorganized mess inside an aluminum case. All in all, this thing is just a waste of $7.99 unless you are into collecting metal boxes that are made too protect plastic chips the size of a postage stamp, because this thing sure as heck isn't made to hold a DS or DS Lite like the title and description lead you to believe. Ok, I'm done now.

This case is great. It is the size of 2 DS game cases, and holds 12 games! This streamline my backpack quite a bit as I seem to like to have at least 6 games with my DS when I am out with it.
The only complaint I could have about it is the plastic cartridge slots make it a little hard to get the games out. But, thats me complaining that it holds games to well. So thats nit picking isn't it.
