I bought this so that I could connect my Nintendo DS Lite to the internet because the official Nintendo product was discontinued and, where available, a lot more expensive than this product. This was easy to install, easy to work, and required minimal formatting (for which step-by-step instructions were given at the product's website). Though I didn't receive the installation CD or manual with the product, I found that both were readily available for download at the website for free (both in a single download labeled "PC041 WiFi LINK for PSP/NDSL").
(In case anyone finds this difficult, BEFORE plugging the USB in, you download the file under 'open' rather than 'save' to not waste computer space. Then open the folder, double-click a file named 'set-up', and follow the wizard. Don't worry if the Windows informs you that it's not compatible; it cause no problems for anyone I know of. Once the wizard is done, the software is installed. Connect the USB and format it - I posted the instructional link above. From then on you have wifi as long as the USB is connected.)
I recommended this to a friend, who also found that it worked perfectly for her Nintendo DSi. However, I recommend that buyers check (at the products' website) that the software is compatible with their computers before ordering it.
