Video Game Reviews of Cooking MamaCustomer Review: Such a great game! Summary: 5 StarsI've been playing this game for quite some time now. When I first started playing it I thought I would get bored really quickly but surprisingly enough I love it just as much now as I did when I first started playing it. Some of the recipes are slightly easy to do however there is some recipes which are quite challenging. As I'm writing this review I can't actually think of anything negative to say about this game. I think it's great for kids as well as adults. The graphics on the game are very nice and cute. Overall I find the game easy to use and a lot of fun. :D
Customer Review: Great for a 4 year old girl Summary: 4 StarsI was looking for a good game for my 4 year old daughter and this one is her favorite game. She loves to cook now and helps out in the kitchen. She stays on this game 1/2 hour at a time. It really keeps her busy and she has a lot of fun with it. I do recommend this game for a young girl.
Customer Review: Fun but it gets repetitive after a while Summary: 3 StarsCooking Mama is a game that lets you chop, stir and cook your way through various Japanese-style dishes. It was really fun in the beginning trying to get better at slicing and dicing my way through a recipe but after a while, it became repetitive and I got bored. There is no advancement through more difficult and complicated moves or recipes, so it stagnated. I'm sure that it would be more fun if it was made a multi-player game where players can compete in skills or speed, but as a stand-alone game, it's just allright. It could be a pretty good game for kids to give them a harmless, virtual taste of cooking and handling knives.
Customer Review: The kids LOVE this game Summary: 5 StarsWith some games we have bought the kids have lost interest in the first few hours and never picked it up again. This is NOT one of those games. i was standing in the store looking at the games and a woman i had never met told me if i was looking for a girl i should try this game. After talking with her our daughters were the same age so i bought it. My 9 year old LOVED it. It has been well over a year and she is still playing with it.
She has since asked for and received Cooking Mama 2 and loves that just as much. I have to admit... i too like to play this game.
Customer Review: Good for a 8 year old Summary: 5 StarsI bought this game for me. I did not like it so I put it on the shelf. After about a month my eight year old daughter picked it up. She saved it from being trashed. She loves it so much. She talks about her progress all the way through it. She loves how she gets starts and such. I do recommend it for a younger child.
