Video Game Reviews of Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day!Customer Review: Sandy's review Summary: 4 StarsI am finding this program challenging and interesting. I particularly like the piano challenges. I have found the instructions inadequate for many of the exercises. Only through trial and error have I figured them out. As a result my initial score was quite low because of the many mistakes I made learing how to work the program. Also, the levels are only normal and hard. I'd like to have an in-between level. It's quite a jump from normal to hard.
Customer Review: My brain hurts from thinking. /(>_<)\ Summary: 5 StarsI loved the first Brain Age but Brain Age2 got a wee bit harder in the types of exams they test you with. I get stuck on some of them and take awhile to think up the answer. I LOVE the Piano one where you press the piano keys according to the chart on the side. It's addicting like the last one and it'll keep your mind thinking. If your a Work-Out buff dont forget to grab yourself a DS cuz there's a part of your Body that is important to give a workout to and that your Brain. Brain Age and Brain Age2 can definitely help you train your brain. :D
Customer Review: Brain Age 2 Summary: 5 StarsA great continuation to the Brain Age series of games. This is my favorite with a little bit more entertaining and challenging games. The play is easy, sometimes the pen does not pickup what I write correctly, but a very minor problems which hasn't overly affected my scores.
Customer Review: Give or Take Summary: 4 StarsI've never used the first Brain Age. I'm 28 and female. I am also pretty new to playing games.
At first I thought that this game was only Sudoku. The sudoku is a big plus because there are TONS of them. You can pretty much play it until you pass out and still have a lot more to unlock.
There are a few things I don't like about this game. 1. The Dr. gets really annoying and repetitive sometimes. 2. You don't get to unlock new games very often. 3. The games that they test you on are different than the ones you practice with. The games they test you on are annoying (rock paper scissors, or counting racing people etc). 4. The games you can play daily are scored the first time you play and you have to play all of them. At least half are annoying. 5. All scores are take on the first try. If you are a champ by the end it doesn't matter - try tomorrow.
There are a few things that I like. 1. Sudoku. 2. I love a few of the games such as making change, playing music, decoding the signs. 3. It is nice to see your progress on the games. 4. The dr. does say some little hints that you can figure out to unlock game quirks.
It seems like the bad outweighs the good, but I still go back to it every now and then. It will also matter how many games/what type of you like. I also still have a lot to unlock if I want to repeat the old stuff at some point.
Customer Review: Great for kids and adults alike Summary: 5 StarsReally a good workout for the brain, fun, and can even be challenging to some so give it a try and it is not expensive like many of the animated games or series like Mario although to me any of the games I have are worth their prices.
