Customer Review: Easy but entertaining

I agree with other reviewers, the crossword puzzles are too easy for too long before you can get to something more difficult. Even then they are pretty easy and I am no crossword puzzle whiz. They wouldn't have to be NY Times difficult, but something more like your local newspaper's difficulty level would be good. A young person in middle school would have a lot of fun with them, but they are just too easy for adults.

The anagrams are fun, but I also agree with another reviewer... some of the "words" seem too odd. I wish I could think of one of them now. And there are others that aren't even accepted (and my spelling is proficient). Some common foreign words are accepted, while others are not. They're minor irritations, but can be very frustrating when you are trying to figure out what the last word in the list could possibly be.

And, yes, the print is very small on the word search game. Major eye strain. Maybe playing it on the new DSi system will be better, what with the larger screens and all.

Overall, it's a fun game. Just don't expect it to be really difficult.

This game not only includes crosswords, but word finds and anagrams. All games can be selected for size (small, medium and large puzzles) and its worthwhile owning, if you want a portable pick-up and go word game similar to the penny game books you find in the grocery stores.
