Customer Review: Great Game But It wearss out after A While

I got a Nintendo DS 2 years ago and already the L Button and the Hinge to the Top Screen have already Broken the L Button Broke a year ago and the top screen broke after it was acidentally dropped on Plastic Floor Covering that keeps our carpet white because we all have Office Chairs. Now I am having to send it to Nintendo and Pay the $75 to have the L button and the Hinge fixed or replaced. The same Thing Happened to My friends Nintendo DS.Customer Review: GET THE DS LITE

There is a differance between DS and DS Lite. Except that the DS Lite screen is brighter and has 4 settings of brightness. The original has one setting of brightness and not as bright as the Lites. Not even the lowest setting of the brightness in the DS Lite is brighter than the original DS.
The DS lite is much more smaller and much more comfortable to hold than the original. The original has a pretty bad desighn. The lites has and awsome desighn.

I've dropped my DS once or twice on a concrete ground, and the only thing that broke, or half broke, was my Action Replay. The DS only got a little scratched, but it still works really well! The battery life is very good, the graphics are decent (very good, according by the tiny little cards the games are), and the sound is great. The touch screen needs common sense. By that I mean DO NOT press hard on it! A lot of people I know do that and, what do you know?! Their screen is all scratched up and they complain about it and say they don't know what happened! My touch screen is a little dusty, but still works completely fine. 5/5.Customer Review: This is awesome, better than the DS lite!!

This DS is way better than the DS lite! Here's why: It's more durable. If you drop it, it doesn't scratch. I've dropped my DS lite lots of times and its really scratched up. Where you put the stylus is better-you can't lose it as easily! I don't care that the DS lites are cooler, because they're just the same. If your looking to buy a new system, go for this one! If you don't like this blue, there's tons of other colors. Go for this DS!Customer Review: A loverly device sent from the Gods themselves - Nintendo!!

It took me a while to acquire one: I asked for it, Christmas 2004, but was sadly disappointed when my cousin didn't come through (he was supposed to go half on one with my mom for Christmas. Guess he got wet feet!!).
Anyway, Christmas 2005 rolled around, and I don't even think I asked for one that year. But I got this one! The Electric blue version, and was very shocked, but also a bit disappointed.
I wanted it, but at the same time, I didn't.
But once I discovered Pictochat again, I was seriously hooked on this thing.
And you don't wanna know how much I played Mario Kart DS once I got the hang of that! It was OK, at first, but didn't feel like the Mario Kart that I once loved. And the graphics weren't as good as I had hoped.
But I kept both anyway, and grew to love them, even moreso, Mario Kart DS!
I eventually went on to buy Feel The Magic, Magical Starsign and Puyo Pop Fever, the latter is the only one that I play once in a while.
I do need new games though because I'm rather bored with the 4 that I own.
Overall, this system is THE handheld to own. You can get a DS Lite if you want, but I like my "bulky" electric blue DS just fine. Even though it looks purple! lol...
This was money well spent!
4.5 stars.
