Customer Review: My daughter loved it...
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter loved it. My son loved it. They play with it whenever they are allowed to play video games. It came with a mini guide and they like to compare all the pokemons that they have. Worth the money I spent.

Customer Review: What an amazing game!
Summary: 4 Stars

I recently got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of time, and it was so awesome! I was so into the story, I couldn't put my DS down! In fact, I ended up completing the game in 2 days... Much, much better than the previous one in my opinion. The story is very interesting and touching, it gets a bit emotional at times.

My ratings:

Fun: 5/5. This game provided me with hours and hours of fun, as I explored and tried to solve the mystery of why I became a pokemon.

Graphics: 5/5. Everywhere we explored was simply beautiful, especially fogbound lake. I was completely captivated by the graphics.

Sound: 5/5. This game had wonderful music, that seemed to fit the mood, wether we were in a moment of deep trouble, or my partner and i were just having one of those emotional moments.

Dungeons: 3/5. There are many great dungeons to explore on this game, but however I was not pleased about the dungeon that reduces you to level 1 while you are exploring it. It's like throwing away all your hard work, and giving it back once you leave the dungeon. This is one of the few things I found disappointing about this game.

Ideas: 5/5. I was thrilled when I found out I would be part of a guild rather than being an individual rescue team. The guildmaster would always make me laugh, no matter how tight our situation was. It was a bit upsetting when I graduated from the guild and didn't live there anymore, though :( Also, I also loved that every night we would eat dinner, and watching all those pokemon chow down is always entertaining. After you beat the game, however, it gets a bit repetitive. Overall, the whole idea of the game was very unique and I enjoyed it a lot.

Differences from the previous mystery dungeon games: 2/5. I was a little upset that you still have to worry about getting hungry in the dungeons. The apples just take up space in your treasure bag. Also, the variety of pokemon you could start as in the beginning wasn't great. I started as Munchlax. I loved how in the first mystery dungeon games, you could be an Eevee. I really wish you could still be an Eevee. The pokemon you can start as are: All of the starters (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Treeko, Mudkip, Torchic, Turtwig, Piplup, Chimchar), Pikachu, Meowth, Skitty, and Munchlax. I could tell the makers definatly tried to improve the game, but besides the better story line, i didn't think it was that improved.

New Foes: 5/5. I actually enjoyed chasing after team Skull, as they were incredibly easy to beat and ended up having a little good in them. I found them much better than Team Meanies in the previous games. Not to mention you can tell Team Skull put a lot more thought into their team name :P

Overall: 4/5. This game is great for most people, but some people said they thought it was a bit sappy. I guess it's just my personality, but I liked the 'sappy' moments. If you loved the last pokemon mystery game, you will most likely LOVE this one. If you didn't like the previous game, then you just might find this one a bit better, as it has a much more complicated story line, and it includes Diamond and Pearl pokemon.

Customer Review: Even Better Than Previous PMDs!
Summary: 5 Stars

This game was given to me for my birthday, and I had extremely high expectations for it. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. This game had an enchanting storyline to go along with the vivid graphics and characters. Like with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue, it has a sad ending, but with a joyous conclusion. Throughout the game are twists and turns so amazing that you can't be sure what to think, or who to trust.
The only problem I can find is the long cut-scenes, but I can hardly complain, as they are crucial to understanding the the whole story. Along terms of difficulty, the bosses are hard, but not not too hard. All your other opponents seem easy, but they can be deadly.

Love these rescue-type games! I feel like a hero when I have accomplished rescue jobs! Many graphics in the game are beautiful, and it is simple to learn!
