Video Game Reviews of LEGO BatmanCustomer Review: Dissapointing cut scenes! Summary: 2 StarsWhen I buy lego games I expect two things: Fun game play and funny cut scenes.
I got the fun game play but they turned the cut scenes into slide shows. This really pissed me off. The best part of the game for me is the funny cut scenes.
If the cut scenes are important to you I would suggest you buy this for a different console. If you do not care about the cut scenes then buy the game it is fun.
Customer Review: Fun Game / Great Adventure Summary: 4 StarsI would suggest Ages 8 and up on this one...takes a little patience as it is an ADVENTURE...but very fun to play.. A nice gift...all the LEGO titles are fun.
Customer Review: For everyone Summary: 5 StarsReally good game... easy but not too easy, and the animation is really cute!
There's no real violence as it's just Lego characters, which fall apart when hit. The game is pretty easy to play, but extensive, and has lots of extra stuff to do once you pass a level. Free-play is unlocked after completing each level. Also, you get to play the villain side as well as the hero. (Get both sides of the story!)
Little kids can play too, although there's some reading, but it's not enough to keep a small child from being able to play. However the levels are complicated, as there's a great deal to do from collecting coins, to kits, and red blocks. Small children may need some help.
I believe it's intended for kids around 6 and up. Very fun, even for adults too, especially if you're a Lego's fan! ;)
Customer Review: Excellent seller! Summary: 5 StarsQuick delivery of product, saved me hours of two children fighting over one game...would definitely buy from this seller again!
Customer Review: "Mom, can I play too?" Summary: 4 StarsI bought this game not sure what to expect. I have played LEGO Star Wars and Indiana Jones, but on the wii, and I wasn't sure how the game would translate into DS format. I can honestly say - it's a blast!
The game is divided into two sections - the hero section and the villain section. It's a ton of fun to see how the villains play the same level. Different entrances or buttons or tasks, but that all relate back to how the heroes will find things. I will say that much of the game seems to be a bit easier than the wii games (though I haven't played Batman on wii), but it certainly does not remove the fun and would probably help the younger players. I'm sure that once my 7-year-old son gets his hands on the game, I'll probably never see it again.
If you're a fan of the LEGO games already, this is a worthy addition to them. If you've held off playing, this would be an excellent way to get your feet wet!
